A helicopter on a training mission crashed and caught fire at around 3:30 am. local time, the cause of death of two persons on board, US military officials, who spoke about the incident that is under investigation, said, seeking anonymity.The Alabama law enforcement agency said in a statement that the UH-60 helicopter, widely known as the Black Hawk, crashed on Alabama Highway 53 northwest of Huntsville.
Local news outlets showed large plumes of black smoke rising from the casualties. Several were on the emergency response vehicle.
