New Delhi: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has reached New York on a tour of America. This visit of PM is being considered very important. There was tremendous enthusiasm among the people to welcome Narendra Modi. People raised slogans of Modi-Modi to welcome the Prime Minister. Some members of the Indian community were also seen standing outside the hotel to welcome PM Modi. People have gathered everywhere in the city.

Why is this visit of PM Modi special?

America, which is called the world’s most powerful country, will lay the red carpet for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 22, and with this, PM Modi will become the third leader of the world, who was given this honor by the current US President Joe Biden.

Joe Biden has earlier invited Emmanuel Macron of France and Yoon Suk Yeol of South Korea for a state visit and banquet. This is the highest diplomatic reception from the US usually given only to the closest allies.
