Lucknow: On Saturday morning, a woman and three children died in a gas cylinder explosion in their house in Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh. The incident happened in Dumri village at around 6 am today. The explosion was so strong that the ceiling and walls of the room were also damaged.
After receiving information about this incident, Police and forensic officials reached the spot and were investigating as a large crowd gathered outside the house where the cylinder blast occurred. By the time the fire was brought under control, the woman and her three children were completely burnt. The woman had gone to make tea for her husband. The husband was outside the room, due to which he was saved.
The woman was identified as 35-year-old wife Aarti Devi. Shiv Shankar Gupta’s 35-year-old wife Aarti Devi, a resident of Dumri village, woke up on Saturday morning and as soon as she lit the gas by placing the tea pan on the stove, the regulator caught fire.
35-year-old Aarti Devi shouted, but then the cylinder exploded, setting the house on fire. The fire spread to the other room of the house, due to which 14-year-old Aanchal, 12-year-old Kundan and 11-year-old Srishti, who were sleeping in the room, got caught in the fire.
Officials said that All of them died by burning in the room itself. They did not even get a chance to get out. The fire brigade vehicle controlled the fire with the help of the villagers. After the incident, officials and leaders have started arriving in the village. Shiv Shankar has become unconscious due to the sudden death of his wife and three children.
