Uttarakhand: PM Narendra Modi flags off Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express train

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express through video conferencing and dedicated it to the people of Uttarakhand. Apart from this, PM Modi also inaugurated the electrified rail line sections. During this, PM Modi said that many congratulations to all the people of Uttarakhand for the Vande Bharat Express train.

This train, running between Delhi and Dehradun, will connect the country’s capital with Devbhoomi at a faster speed. Now the time in train journey between Vande Bharat between Delhi-Dehradun will also be reduced considerably. PM Modi said that I have just returned after visiting three countries. Today the whole world is looking at India with great expectations.

The way we Indians have strengthened our economy, it has instilled the confidence of the whole world. PM Modi said that Uttarakhand is Devbhoomi, I remember. When I went to see Baba Kedarnath, some lines spontaneously came out of my mouth after the darshan. These were the lines – This decade will be the decade of Uttarakhand. The way Uttarakhand is taking development forward today, keeping law and order paramount. That is very commendable.

At the beginning of the program, Union Railway Minister addressed the people and then Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami thanked PM Modi for handing over the Vande Bharat Express train. Pushkar Dhami said that “Today is a historic day for Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, it is a good fortune for all of us that we are witnessing this day.”

PM Modi said that I am sure that this Devbhoomi will become the center of attraction for the spiritual consciousness of the whole world in the coming times. We have to develop Uttarakhand according to this capability.

Let us tell you that the Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat train will run on all 6 days except Wednesday. Which will run from Dehradun at 7 am and reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 11.45 am. After this, leaving Anand Vihar at 5.50 pm, it will reach Dehradun at 10.35 pm. Vande Bharat train will cover this journey of 314 kilometers in 4 hours 45 minutes. Please tell that it takes more than 6 hours to cover the distance between the two cities.
