The event, extending its reach globally, saw participation from countries including UAE, New Zealand, and Australia. Symbolic Commitment to Bharatiyata Protection

Prime Minister illuminated the symbolic significance of ‘Veer Bal Diwas,’ portraying it as a collective commitment to go to any extent for the protection of Bharatiyata. The government has launched participative programs nationwide, with a particular focus on educating citizens, especially children, about the remarkable courage of the Sahibzades, sons of Sikh Guru Gobind Singh. A digital exhibition detailing their life stories and sacrifices will grace schools and childcare institutions nationwide.

Amit Shah Pays Homage: Supreme Courage Against Mughal Rule

Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid tribute on social media, honoring Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s four Sahibzade and Mata Gujri Ji. With unwavering courage, they stood against the oppressive Mughal rule, choosing martyrdom over conversion. Amit Shah highlighted their unparalleled valor, a legacy destined to inspire generations.

Nationwide Screenings and Online Competitions

As part of the commemoration, a nationwide screening of a film dedicated to ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ is planned. Additionally, online competitions, including interactive quizzes, will engage participants through MYBharat and MyGov portals. Prime Minister Modi’s announcement on January 9, 2022, marking December 26 as ‘Veer Baal Diwas’ in honor of the martyrdom of Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh, resonates in these multifaceted initiatives.
