Akash Anand’s first reaction on being removed from the post; says a big thing about Mayawati’s order

Uttar Pradesh: After being removed from the post of National Coordinator and successor of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), now Akash Anand’s statement has come to the fore. Akash Anand has accepted Mayawati’s order, calling it supreme. He has also described Mayawati as the most accepted leader.

Akash Anand tweeted on social media platform X and said, “Respected behen ji, you are a role model for the entire Bahujan community, crores of countrymen worship you. It is because of your struggles that today our society has got such political strength due to which the Bahujan community has learned to live with respect.” He added,”You are our universal leader. I respect your order. I will keep fighting till my last breath for Bhim Mission and my society. Jai Bhim, Jai Bharat.”

In fact, on May 7, Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati removed her nephew Akash Anand from the post of National Coordinator of the party and her successor. Announcing it on X, the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister had said she has taken the decision in the interest of the party and the movement and till the time Anand gains “full maturity”. She said her brother and Akash’s father Anand Kumar will continue to fulfil his responsibilities as before.

Akash Anand, the son of Anand Kumar, the younger brother of BSP leader Mayawati, holds an MBA degree from a prestigious college in London. In a post, Mayawati said, ‘It is known that BSP, besides being a party, is also a movement of self-respect and self-esteem of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and social change, for which Kanshi Ram ji and I myself have dedicated our entire lives and a new generation is also being prepared to give it momentum.’

BSP chief further wrote, ‘In the same sequence, along with promoting other people in the party, Akash Anand was declared the National Coordinator and his successor. But in the larger interest of the party and the movement, he is being separated from these two important responsibilities until he attains full maturity.’

Mayawati further wrote, ‘While his father Anand Kumar will continue to fulfill his responsibilities in the party and the movement as before. Hence, the leadership of BSP is not going to step back from making every kind of sacrifice in the interest of the party and the movement and in taking forward the caravan of Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar.’
