Yogi Adityanath Set to Kick Off Election Campaigns in Multiple States

Yogi Adityanath, the prominent campaigner for the BJP in various poll-bound states, is preparing to kickstart his Telangana assembly election campaign later this month. Renowned for his “bulldozer” model, he will also direct his campaign efforts towards Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.

Two official sources familiar with the situation indicated that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is expected to initiate his campaign from Mudhol in Telangana on October 31, with a prior plan to address an election meeting in Telangana on October 26 currently being refined.

A senior official disclosed that the specifics of the chief minister’s schedule are still being fine-tuned. He is anticipated to tour the states heading to the polls nearly every day until the campaign’s conclusion.

As per the Election Commission’s schedule, Telangana is slated for polling on November 30. Chhattisgarh’s assembly election is set for November 7 and 17, while Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan will hold their elections on November 17 and 23, respectively. Mizoram’s polling is scheduled for November 7.

The functionary further noted, “The campaign schedule will be solidified in the coming days, and much will depend on the requests from the poll-bound states. Given that elections in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan are slated before Telangana, the chief minister may decide to engage in campaign meetings in these states before addressing Telangana”.
