Rajasthan: On Sunday, an official said that at least six members of a family killed when their car was hit by another vehicle in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan on Sunday. As soon as information received the police reached on the spot.
According to the information, two others injured in this incident. The accident happened near the Banas River bridge on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The official said that the family had been en route to a Ganesh temple in Sawai Madhopur to offer prayers.
Authorities have initiated a search operation to locate and apprehend the owner of the vehicle responsible for the collision.Dharampal Singh, Sub-Inspector at Bonli police station said, “Six members of a family were killed and two injured in the accident after an unidentified vehicle hit their car.”
The deceased have been identified as Manish Sharma and his wife Anita, Kailash Sharma and his wife Santosh, and Satish Sharma and his wife Poonam. Official added that their children, who sustained injuries was identified as Manan and Deepali, have been hospitalised. They added that the bodies of the deceased have been sent for postmortem, which will be conducted once the family members arrive.
