70-year-old man beheaded in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar, probe underway

Bihar: On Tuesday, an official said that a man was found beheaded at his residence in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. He was 70-year-old. He added that the victim has been identified as Ram Pravesh Pandey.

The 70-year-old man was a native of Bahilwara Rupnathpur village under the Saraiya police station limits. Pandey’s family members have claimed that he went to sleep after having dinner on Monday.

Giving details about this incident, police said that when he did not wake up on Tuesday morning, they went to his room, where their mutilated body was found. According to the information, the reason behind it is not clear.

Jay Prakash Singh, SHO of Saraiya police station said,“We have recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem. We have called for a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team to collect evidence. The matter is under investigation.”
