9 opposition leaders write to PM Modi, says ‘Central agencies are being misused’

New Delhi: The opposition parties have written a letter to the Prime Minister alleging misuse of central investigation agencies. 9 opposition leaders have written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In which it is said that agencies like ED and CBI are being misused. Opposition leaders have said that investigation agencies are being misused by the central government by targeting prominent leaders of various parties.

New Delhi: The opposition parties have written a letter to the Prime Minister alleging misuse of central investigation agencies. 9 opposition leaders have written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In which it is said that agencies like ED and CBI are being misused. Opposition leaders have said that investigation agencies are being misused by the central government by targeting prominent leaders of various parties.

Among the 9 leaders who have written a letter to PM Modi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, Telangana CM Chandrashekhar Rao, former UP CM SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav, NCP chief Sharad Pawar, former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Farooq Abdullah.



In the letter written to the PM, it is written that Prime Minister Modi ji, we hope you will agree that India is a democratic country. The continuous action of the central agencies CBI and ED against the leaders of the opposition has been the point that an autocratic system is being established in the country. The letter further stated that on 26 February 2023 former Delhi Minister Manish Sisodia was arrested by the CBI.

There is no merit in the allegations leveled against him. All this has been done under a conspiracy. Manish Sisodia’s arrest has angered people across the country. Sisodia has made a distinct identity for bringing about reforms in Delhi’s government schools.Let us tell you that recently AAP leader Manish Sisodia was arrested by CBI in a case related to liquor scam. After this he was produced in the court, from where he was sent to CBI remand for 5 days for questioning.

After the remand was over, he was once again produced in court. He has again been sent to CBI remand for 2 days.Earlier on February 20, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had taken major action in the alleged coal levy scam in Chhattisgarh. The ED investigating money laundering in the scam raided the houses of Congress treasurer, MLA and other leaders.

These raids took place at a time when the congress of the Congress party was to be held in Raipur, Chhattisgarh from February 24-26.ED raided more than a dozen locations. Houses of Congress leaders were also included in these. According to sources, the ED is investigating those who have benefited in the alleged coal levy scam in the current government. It is alleged that there is a coal scam in Chhattisgarh. Senior bureaucrats, businessmen, politicians and middlemen are expected to be involved in this.
