The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is busy strengthening the organization before the assembly elections in five states to be held this year. On Saturday, party president JP Nadda made a big announcement and appointed 10 leaders as members of the BJP National Working Committee. These leaders include former state president of Himachal Pradesh Suresh Kashyap, former president of Bihar Sanjay Jaiswal, senior leader of Chhattisgarh Vishnu Dev Sai, former president of Punjab Ashwini Sharma, former president of Telangana Bandi Sanjay Kumar, leader of Telangana Sombir Raju, leader of Jharkhand former president Deepak Prakash, senior Rajasthan leader Kirori Lal Meena and former Rajasthan president Satish Poonia.
BJP’s national general secretary and headquarter in-charge Arun Singh issued a release giving information about the organizational appointment. Also informed that these appointments are being implemented with immediate effect.
According to a statement issued by the party, the leaders who have been inducted into the national executive include Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Deepak Prakash, Satish Poonia and Sanjay Jaiswal. These four leaders have been state unit presidents in Telangana, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Bihar respectively.
Similarly, former Himachal Pradesh BJP president Suresh Kashyap, former Chhattisgarh unit president Vishnudev Sai and former Punjab BJP president Ashwani Sharma have also been included in the national executive.
Chhattisgarh BJP leader Dharamlal Kaushik, former Andhra Pradesh BJP president Somu Veeraraju and Rajasthan leader Kirori Lal Meena have also been made members of the national executive. Let us tell, assembly elections are going to be held in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan this year.
