Chhattisgarh/Bijapur : A CAF jawan who went on a search operation got martyred due to Naxalites’ pressure bomb IED blast here. The jawan was posted in Bijapur as ACP Assistance Platoon Commander. His name has been told as Vijay Yadav.
According to the information, the pressure bomb IED placed by the Naxalites exploded at Tekri, one kilometer away from Etepal camp in Meertur police station area. It is being told that the jawans had left from Teemanar camp to provide security during road construction work. At the same time, the soldiers were martyred due to the hit of the bomb blast.
Incident occurred at 7:40 am today
The incident occurred at around 7:40 am between Etepal and Timenar villages under the Mirtur police station limits when teams of CAF were out on an area domination operation to ensure security for road construction work in the area, an official said. Separate teams of CAF had set out from its Etepal and Timenar camps, he said.
The martyr jawan is being told of Rajpur village in Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh. Please inform that the mortal remains of the martyr jawan will be given a guard of honor at the Bhairamgarh police station.
