A devastating incident unfolded in Rajasthan’s Dausa district as an unidentified speeding car careened into a group of pedestrians sleeping near a government school in Mahwa town. The tragedy, which occurred late Thursday night, resulted in the loss of three lives and left eight others injured.
Sub-Inspector Ajay Singh from Mahwa Police Station confirmed the fatalities, identifying the deceased as Raju (50), his elderly mother, and young Pari (6). Among the injured, two individuals were discharged after receiving primary medical attention, while six were urgently transferred to SMS Hospital in Jaipur for further treatment.
Efforts to apprehend the fleeing driver are underway, with authorities actively pursuing leads to bring the perpetrator to justice. The vehicle involved in the accident has been seized from the scene as investigations continue into the tragic event.
