Commercial gas cylinder prices cut by Rs 171.50

New Delhi: On the day of May i.e. Labor Day, the government has drastically reduced the price of LPG cylinders. After this, gas cylinder prices have changed in many cities. However, only the prices of commercial cylinders have been reduced. There is currently no change in the prices of 14.2 kg domestic cooking gas.

New Delhi: On the day of May i.e. Labor Day, the government has drastically reduced the price of LPG cylinders. After this, gas cylinder prices have changed in many cities. However, only the prices of commercial cylinders have been reduced. There is currently no change in the prices of 14.2 kg domestic cooking gas.

Commercial cylinder in Delhi has become Rs 1856.50. Its rate is Rs 1960.50 in Kolkata, Rs 1808.50 in Mumbai and Rs 2021.50 in Chennai. New rates have been updated by oil companies on their websites.

After the reduction in domestic LPG cylinder rates on May 1, 2023, its prices have become effective across the country. These new commercial gas prices are effective Monday, May 1. This time the price of gas cylinder has reduced by 171.50 rupees in one fell swoop.

The current price of commercial cooking gas cylinder (LPG) and industrial gas cylinder (RSP) in Kolkata was Rs 2,132. The price of these two types of gas cylinders has been reduced by Rs. 171.50. As a result, the new price of a 19 kg LPG and RSP gas cylinder used in the commercial sector in Kolkata has come down to Rs 1,960.50. These new prices are effective from today i.e. 1st May.

Let us tell you that on one date of every month, government oil marketing companies revise the price of gas. On April 1, 2023, the price of commercial cylinders was also reduced. A gas cylinder had become cheaper by around Rs 92 then, while the price of a commercial gas cylinder was increased by over Rs 350 in March.
