New Delhi: Due to Cyclone Biparjoy, rain is being seen in many states. On the other hand, the conditions are also favorable for the monsoon and it is moving fast in the states of South and East India. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall in Northeast India, Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim for the next five days. In such a situation, people need to be alert.

However, the Meteorological Department has also told that severe heatwave will continue for the next three to four days in parts of East, East Central. Some relief can be expected only after four days. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rains in the region of South Rajasthan, North Gujarat today.

During this, strong winds with a speed of 45-55 kmph will continue to blow for the next 12 hours. Talking about Northeast and East India, moderate to heavy rains are possible. Meghalaya has also been warned of heavy rain during June 17 to 19.

According to IMD, light to moderate rain is likely over Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha for the next three days. Talking about Northwest India, a warning has been issued for light to moderate rain, thunderstorm, lightning for the next four days in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand. Apart from this, there is a warning of light to moderate rain over the plains of Northwest India for the next three days.

Hail warning has been issued in Uttarakhand on June 18 and 19. Heavy rains are going to occur in Rajasthan on June 17 and 18, in Southeast Rajasthan on June 17-19, and in Northwest MP on June 19-21. Talking about South India, here too there is an alert of light to moderate rain for the next five days. There is a warning of heavy rain between June 17-19 in Tamil Nadu, June 18-21 in Kerala, June 19-21 in South Interior Karnataka.

Talking about the weather of the previous day, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh recorded maximum temperature in the range of 42-44 degrees Celsius, while it was less than 5 degrees Celsius in East UP, East MP, Telangana and Jharkhand. The maximum temperature remained between 40-42 degree Celsius. Heatwave conditions were observed over Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh.
