New Delhi: A murder case like Shraddha Walkar has come to light in South-West Delhi. Here a 24-year-old girl named Nikki Yadav was brutally murdered in Baba Haridas Nagar police station area. Police has arrested the killer boyfriend Sahil Gehlot. Police told that the accused Sahil had killed Nikki and locked her body in a freeze at his dhaba and then went to marry another girl the same day.
Police said that the accused Sahil Gehlot is a resident of Mitraon village in South West Delhi, arrested. Police officials said the incident came to light on Valentine’s Day and the body of the 23-year-old woman was recovered from the refrigerator on Tuesday morning at the instance of the accused.
Police said that Sahil had hidden from his girlfriend Nikki Yadav that his marriage was fixed with another girl. When Nikki came to know about his marriage, she had a heated argument with Sahil, due to which Sahil killed her. Police said that on January 10, Sahil had carried out this dreadful incident.
ADC Vikram Singh told that he had received information on Tuesday morning that after killing a girl, her body had been hidden in a dhaba. When the police reached the spot, the girl’s body was found in the fridge. The dhaba where Nikki’s body was found belonged to Sahil Gehlot. The police also revealed in the investigation that Sahil had strangled Nikki to death with a mobile cable. He said that the accused was apprehensive that he might be caught, so he had already thought where to hide the dead body after committing the murder.
A source said, ‘Nikki was a resident of Jhajjar in Haryana. It has been claimed that she was threatening to implicate Sahil in a legal case if he marries another girl. Police said the couple was in a relationship for the last few years and Nikki wanted to marry Sahil.
According to the information received, the girl was murdered by strangulation inside the car near Kashmere Gate ISBT in Delhi. After the murder, the accused hid the dead body of the girl in the freezer kept in his dhaba in Mitrau village. The name of the accused boy is being told as Sahil Gehlot and his age is 26 years.
