Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has reduced the prices of CNG and PNG in Delhi-NCR following the change in the domestic natural gas pricing formula by the central government. , CNG prices have come down by around Rs 6 per kg and PNG by Rs 5 per SCM in the capital from today. This fall in CNG prices after almost two years has brought great relief to the people. The new CNG prices have come into effect from 6 am on Sunday and PNG prices from 12 midnight on Saturday. CNG and PNG prices almost doubled in two years. Due to the low difference between petrol and CNG, people were avoiding buying CNG vehicles. This step has brought a lot of relief to the people.
IGL tweeted that the price of CNG in Delhi has been reduced to Rs 73.59 per kg. Till now it was available at Rs 79.56 per kg. In this way, there has been a reduction of Rs 5.97 per kg.

CNG prices lowest in Delhi
Talking about Delhi and surrounding cities, the maximum reduction in CNG prices has come in the capital Delhi itself. Here CNG prices have come down to Rs 5.97 per kg. Whereas in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, the price of CNG has come down by Rs 4.92 per kg. CNG prices are the cheapest in the capital after the new prices came into effect. Now from 6 am on Sunday, the rate of CNG in Delhi’s CNG pumps will be Rs 73.59 per kg. In Gurugram, this price will be Rs 82.62 per kg. IGL has reduced PNG rates by Rs 5 in Delhi and neighboring cities.
