Kabul: On Friday,Earthquake strikes again in Afghanistan. According to the National Center for Seismology, the magnitude of the earthquake was 4.6 on the Richter scale. This is the second earthquake in the country suffering from poverty.
NCS tweeted, “Earthquake of Magnitude:4.6, Occurred on 13-10-2023, 06:39:30 IST, Lat: 35.86 & Long: 68.64, Depth: 50 Km, Location: Afghanistan.”

According to NCS, on Friday morning at 6:39 am (India time), earthquake tremors were felt in Afghanistan at a depth of 50 km.
However, there was no loss of life and property due to the reduced intensity of the earthquake.
Earlier, on October 11, a massive 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck Afghanistan. The earthquake was at a depth of 10 km. The Taliban-led ministry as saying that more than 4,000 people were killed and thousands of buildings destroyed in the attack.
