Former Air Force Chief RKS Bhadauria Takes Political Flight, Joins BJP

In a significant political development, the former Air Force Chief, Air Chief Marshal (Retd.) RKS Bhadauria, has embarked on a new journey by joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). After a distinguished career in the armed forces, Bhadauria’s entry into the political arena marks a notable shift in his trajectory.

Bhadauria, who served as the 23rd Air Force Chief from September 30, 2019, to September 30, 2021, officially joined the BJP in the national capital, New Delhi. His induction into the party fold was witnessed by Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur and BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde, signifying the party’s embrace of his leadership.

Hailing from the Bah tehsil of Agra district, Bhadauria’s deep-rooted connection with the heartland strengthens BJP’s electoral prospects in Uttar Pradesh. Sources suggest that BJP is considering fielding him as its candidate from Ghaziabad in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, underscoring his potential impact on the political landscape.

The BJP top brass had held a CEC meeting yesterday and the party is expected to release its fifth list today, which might shed light on whether he will replace Gen VK Singh in the Lok Sabha polls.
