Former OSD Accuses Ashok Gehlot of Orchestrating Phone Tapping and Leak of Shekhawat’s Audio Clips

In a startling revelation, Ashok Gehlot’s former Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Lokesh Sharma, has alleged that the leaked audio clips implicating Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in a political maneuver were provided to him by Gehlot himself.

The audio clips, purportedly featuring conversations between Shekhawat and Congress leaders discussing plans to destabilize the Congress government in Rajasthan, emerged during the political turmoil in 2020, triggered by Sachin Pilot’s rebellion against Gehlot.

Sharma says he got the clips from Gehlot, not from social media. He showed a pen drive and other stuff he got from Gehlot. He says he’ll help if investigators ask him.

Accusing Gehlot of orchestrating a smear campaign against Shekhawat and Pilot, Sharma also alleged Gehlot’s involvement in surveillance of Pilot and other Congress leaders’ phones, as well as the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET) paper leak.
Even though Shekhawat complained against him, Sharma says he kept quiet as Gehlot told him to.

These claims add a new twist to the political drama in Rajasthan, showing problems within the Congress and raising doubts about how the state is run.
