Possessing a deep, magnetic voice and endless charm, Alan Rickman has proven to be a milestone in the world of acting.
On this day in 1987, Rickman performed in the Broadway play Les Liaisons Dangerous, which was instrumental in launching his career. Alan Rickman was born on February 21, 1946 in West London, England. A naturalist painter, Rickman became interested in various forms of art after being encouraged by his teachers and family.
