ICC World Cup 2023 Final: Indian Railways Introduces Special Trains from Delhi and Mumbai to Ahmedabad

In a welcome move for cricket enthusiasts, the Indian Railways has announced the operation of special trains from Delhi and Mumbai to Ahmedabad for the ICC World Cup 2023 final match scheduled on Sunday. This initiative addresses the concerns of cricket fans grappling with exorbitant airfares, offering a cost-effective travel alternative. The railways ensures affordable pricing, with seats available at rates ranging from ₹620 for a sleeper seat to ₹3,490 for a first AC seat. The 3AC economy and 3AC seats are priced at ₹1,525 and ₹1,665, respectively.

Reservations for these special trains opened on Saturday and can be made through the IRCTC website (www.irctc.co.in).
