IMA Dehradun:The country will get 331 young military officers today.

Along with this, 42 cadets from friendly nations will also pass out. This time Army Chief General Manoj Pandey will take the salute of the passing out parade.

IMA Dehradun:The country will get 331 young military officers today.

Dehradun:Record of giving 64,862 military officers will be made Today in the history of IMA, the record of giving 64862 military officers will be included. Cadets from here, not only from the country but also from abroad, work hard and leave ready to serve the country. IMA has produced 61642 military officers from India so far. While 2843 cadets from 35 friendly countries have also joined the army of their countries after completing rigorous training from IMA. 42 cadets from friendly countries will also be ready to serve their countries by taking training from IMA. Army Chief General Manoj Pandey will take the salute of POP.
There will be a grand parade at Drill Square:
This morning there will be a POP at Drill Square opposite the historic Chatswood building of the IMA. After the pinking and oath ceremony to be held after the parade, 373 Gentleman Cadets of the pinking out batch will join the Indian and foreign armies as officers. Of these, 331 officers will be given to the Indian Army. While 19 cadets from Bhutan, 17 from Tajikistan, two from Sri Lanka and one each from Maldives, Sudan, Seychelles and Vietnam will also pass out. The army chaplain congratulated these bravehearts for sacrificing everything for the motherland with pride and glory. Will make you swear to be ready. Lieutenant General (AVSM, SM, ADC) Amrik Singh Kasam will be the chief guest of the parade. After instilling the spirit of patriotism in the young bravehearts, he will encourage the parents of the soldiers who became part of the Indian Army by honoring them with the Gaurav Fighter Medal. Along with this, the best performing recruits in various fields during the training period will also be awarded with medals. All the officers and soldiers of the Indian Army will witness this moment.
This time also, like every time, Uttar Pradesh has become the state which gives the maximum number of cadets. 63 cadets of Uttar Pradesh will become officers after passing out. Whereas, this time Uttarakhand has slipped two places back as compared to the first time. Last year, the number of cadets from Uttarakhand in the June parade was 33. Which has reduced to 25 this time. But, in terms of population, this time also Uttarakhand is on top among the cadets. Not a single cadet from Sikkim, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman Nicobar will pass out from IMA this year. Whereas, one cadet each from Tripura, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chandigarh, Goa, Manipur, Odisha and Puducherry will be part of the Indian Army.
