IMD forecast predicts light rain and thunderstorms occur in these states including Delhi-NCR, Haryana

Meteorologists have predicted cloudy skies with the possibility of light rain or drizzle and dust storm on Sunday. According to Skymet Weather report, East Assam and Arunachal Pradesh are likely to receive light to moderate rain and showers today. Light to moderate rain is likely over Sikkim, rest of Northeast India, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

New Delhi: Due to the activation of Western Disturbance, the weather has changed in the national capital Delhi and its adjoining areas. The weather has become pleasant amid the scorching sun. People got relief from heat due to rain on Saturday night. There will be clouds in the sky today. Dusty strong wind can also blow. Apart from this, there may be light rain in some areas of Delhi.

Meteorologists have predicted cloudy skies with the possibility of light rain or drizzle and dust storm on Sunday. According to Skymet Weather report, East Assam and Arunachal Pradesh are likely to receive light to moderate rain and showers today. Light to moderate rain is likely over Sikkim, rest of Northeast India, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Scattered rain with isolated rain is likely over Western Himalayas, parts of Haryana, Punjab, Bihar, southeast Uttar Pradesh, southeast Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and south interior Karnataka. At the same time, IMD has indicated the possibility of continued thunderstorms at different places for the next four days in Bihar. Rain is expected in 31 districts of the state including Patna on Sunday. Also, the weather will be dry in 7 districts.

According to the Skymet Weather report, pre-monsoon rains have been occurring in parts of northern plains, central, eastern, northeastern and southern India for the past 2 to 3 days. Rain and drizzle will continue till April 27 in the eastern part of the country. There may be a gradual increase in North West and Central India. But there may not be a heat wave. From April 28, rains and showers may start over parts of Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, south Rajasthan and western parts of Madhya Pradesh.
