IMD forecast predicts rain-hail alert in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan today

According to the IMD forecast, the weather in some states of the country is also in the mood to play Holi. Some areas of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan may receive light rain today. In Jharkhand too, the weather may change and there may be drizzle. Lightning and light rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Mumbai with gusty winds of 30-40 kmph.

New Delhi: The festival of Holi is being celebrated across the country. According to the IMD forecast, the weather in some states of the country is also in the mood to play Holi. Some areas of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan may receive light rain today. In Jharkhand too, the weather may change and there may be drizzle.

Lightning and light rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Mumbai with gusty winds of 30-40 kmph. The sky will be almost clear and cloudy in Delhi. The maximum temperature will be around 32 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be around 16 degrees. Rain likely in parts of Kota, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Bhopal and Indore on Holi.

According to the forecast of weather agency Skymet Weather, Western Disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayas. An induced cyclonic circulation is over South Rajasthan and adjoining areas. A trough is running from North Goa towards Chhattisgarh. During the next 24 hours, one or two moderate rains may occur over Western Himalayas. .

Snowfall is also possible in parts of Western Himalayas and Sikkim. Scattered rain and thundershowers may occur at one or two places over eastern parts of Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and East Madhya Pradesh. Light rain may be seen in parts of Tamil Nadu.

Light rain was observed in parts of Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh during the last 24 hours. Rain and thundershowers were observed over West Madhya Pradesh, isolated parts of Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. Sporadic hailstorm was also observed in Gujarat and Rajasthan. The maximum temperature was 5 degrees or more above normal at a few places over Himachal Pradesh, West Uttar Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch and at one or two places over East Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat region and Konkan and Goa.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is not going to be any significant difference in the weather patterns of the country in the coming 5 days. Apart from Central India, Maharashtra and Gujarat, there is no possibility of any decrease or increase in the maximum temperature in the entire country.

There is a possibility of sunshine in Uttar Pradesh as well. Strong to moderate winds can blow in some districts including Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Ghaziabad. This series will continue for the next 2 days. The Zonal Meteorological Center located in Lucknow has expressed the possibility of light rain in Kanpur. There may be light rain with thunder and lightning in western UP as well. There is also a possibility of hailstorm in some districts of the state.

According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of rain in Madhya Pradesh for the next two days. At present, the condition of rain has prevailed in West Madhya Pradesh. From today the weather will start turning towards East Madhya Pradesh. There may also be hailstorm.
