India records 7,633 new cases of Covid-19 in last 24 hours, active cases crosses 51,000-mark

New Delhi: The speed of Corona in the country is gradually increasing. But today the cases of corona have come less than yesterday. Today, India have been reported 7,633 cases in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the number of active cases has increased at 61,233.

According to the information, active cases have reached 0.14%. India currently has a recovery rate of 98.68 percent. At the same time, the daily infection rate is 3.62%, the weekly infection rate has reached 5.04%. 2,11,029 people have been tested within the last 24 hours. 6,702 recoveries in were recorded in the last 24 hours, with this the total recoveries in the country now stands at 4,42,42,474.

According to the data released by the Ministry of Health, samples of 92.43 crore people have been tested in view of the increasing infection of Corona. Under the nationwide vaccination coverage, 220.66 crore total vaccine doses have been administered so far, of which 95.21 crore are second dose while 22.87 crore are precaution doses. In the last 24 hours, 749 doses were administered in the country.

Corona cases are seen increasing in Delhi, Maharashtra, Haryana, Gujarat. In such a situation, the government has advised everyone to be cautious, wear masks, avoid going to crowded places. The death toll in the country increased to 531,152. While four deaths were reported from Delhi, one each was reported from Haryana, Karnataka and Punjab while four fatalities were reconciled by Kerala, the data updated at 8 am has stated.
