Indian-origin student missing: Found in US after massive effort launched by Frisco Police

There are continuous reports of disappearance and death of Indian American students in America. Meanwhile, once again a student went missing in Frisco, America on Monday. After launching massive hunt operation, the student has been found. Frisco Police has given this information.

Washington: There are continuous reports of disappearance and death of Indian American students in America. Meanwhile, once again a student went missing in Frisco, America on Monday. After launching massive hunt operation, the student has been found. Frisco Police has given this information.

Police were initially searching for a 17-year-old girl named Ishika Thakore, who had left her home on Monday night and has not been seen since.

He later posted on X, the missing girl has been located. We would like to thank everyone for their offers of assistance and words of support.

The Frisco police had late last evening posted on X seeking the help of the public to trace Ishika Thakore. “Frisco PD is seeking assistance in locating 17-year-old Ishika Thakore, last seen Monday, April 8 at 11:30 pm in the 11900-block of Brownwood Dr. in Frisco. She is approx 5’4″ and 175 lbs, last seen wearing a black, long-sleeve t-shirt and red/green pajama pants,” the post said.

Responding to the same post, the police today said the teenager has been located. “The 17-year-old who was the subject of our Critical Missing Alert from earlier today has been located. We’d like to thank everyone for the offers of assistance and words of support,” the post further said.

However, the Fiasco police are yet to reveal how and where they found the teenage girl.

This year, 11 Indian-American students have been found dead in America.

The incident adds to the growing list of Indian-American students who have been reported missing or mysteriously dead across the country recently.

America is a favorite destination for Indian students wishing to pursue higher education. According to the US, more than 2.6 lakh Indian students migrated to the country in the 2022-2023 session. This was a jump of 35 percent from the previous session.
