The first match of this season will be between last year’s winner Gujarat Giants and Chennai Super Kings (GT vs CSK) at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The inauguration ceremony of APL will be held at this stadium.
The 16th season of IPL will start from 31st March and will end on 28th May with the winner. Once again 10 teams are participating in this season. These teams are divided into two groups. Group A consists of Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants. So, on the other hand, the teams of Chennai Super Kings, Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans are included in Group B.
