The incident was reported by Jammu ADGP Mukesh Singh. He said that the explosion was heard near the Sanyal police post near the international border under Hiranagar police station. SSP Shivdeep Singh, who reached the spot, said that the news of the blast was received here. People of the village informed that there was a loud explosion.
The situation is under control now. We have conducted a search operation in the area, the investigation is going on through which the blast was carried out. However, it was clarified later that there was no injury. A search operation will be conducted in the morning as well.
The blast took place near the Sanyal post of the Kathua Border Police, just a short distance from the international border. After this blast, the local police has been alerted and a search operation is being conducted by cordoning off the surrounding areas.
Although this blast was done with explosive material, it will be known only in the morning. SSP said that no terrorist incident can be ruled out, we are investigating the matter from all aspects. Meanwhile, the security forces were seen investigating the incident. Currently, security has been increased in the area.
