According to the information, R Dhruva Narayan, 61, suddenly had chest pain in the morning after which his driver took him to DRMS hospital, but by then he had died.
After the news of R Dhruva Narayan’s death, Randeep Surjewala tweeted that the death of the always smiling friend, our leader and the most dedicated soldier of the Congress, Dhruva Narayan, is an irreparable loss to the Congress. This cannot be expressed in any words. Describing Dhruva Narayan as a champion of Dalits, Surjewala said that Dhruv Narayan dedicated his life to the poor. We will miss you forever my friend.
Prominent party leaders from the state including leader of Opposition Siddaramaiah expressed shock over the sudden passing of the leader, who was an important face in the Old Mysore region.
