West Bengal: On Saturday, during the Lok Sabha election campaign, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was injured while boarding a helicopter. The incident happened after she walked up the stairs and was about to take a seat in the helicopter.
According to initial information, CM Mamata Banerjee got injured on her leg after she stumbled upon while boarding a helicopter at Gandhi Mor in Durgapur. The helicopter was waiting for the Chief Minister to board, so it could take off.
She was immediately helped by her security personnel. She continued with her scheduled trip to Asansol without pause. Just over a month ago, the West Bengal Chief Minister was injured on her forehead after a fall at her Kalighat residence in Kolkata.
