Karnataka: On Saturday, an official said that a 17-year-old boy in Mulbagal town of Karnataka was arrested after he confessed to killing his mother in their home. The deceased worked in a software firm in Whitefield.
According to the information, the incident occurred on Friday, when the minor student was getting ready for classes. The police said that the initial probe revealed that the boy killed his mother in a fit of rage.
According to the statement of boy given to the police, he asked his mother to give him breakfast, to which she refused, saying ‘he is not her son.’ DCP, Whitefield, Gunare said, “The boy was getting ready to go to college and was waiting for breakfast while his mother was still asleep. In a fit of anger, he is suspected to have fetched an iron rod and hit her with it.”
In anger, the boy hit his mother on the head with an iron rod, resulting in her death.Police sources revealed that the boy was said to have been unhappy that he was not getting enough attention from his mother.
After the incident, KR Puram police have registered a case. Police said the boy walked to the police station and requested a senior staff member to speak to him. He then told the cops he had killed his mother.
