New Delhi: The 68th match of IPL 2023 was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants. Lucknow won this match by 1 run and qualified for the playoffs. At the same time, KKR’s journey ended here.

Lucknow innings

Batting first, Lucknow scored 176 for 8 in 20 overs thanks to Nicholas Pooran’s 58. Puran played an inning of 58 runs. Dickock contributed 28 runs, Mankad 26 and Ayush Badoni contributed 25 runs. Vaibhav Arora, Shardul Thakur and Sunil Narayan got two wickets each.

Kolkata innings

Kolkata got off to a brisk start. Venkatesh and Jason Roy took the team’s score past 50 runs in five overs. Jason Roy scored 47 runs. Venkatesh scored 24 runs. Captain Nitish Rana scored 8 runs and Rahmanullah Gurbaj scored 10 runs. Russell was clean bowled by Bishnoi after scoring 7 runs. Rinku Singh fought alone. He scored an unbeaten 67 off 33 balls. In the end, KKR lost the match by one run.
