Kota/Rajasthan: In Kota, Rajasthan, a 30-year-old Drug addict son killed his bed-ridden ailing father after an argument. After this, he sat near the dead body for hours until his mother came home. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. The accused son has also been arrested by the police. The investigation into this m atter is ongoing.
According to the information, this sensational incident took place in the Railway Colony police station area on Sunday morning. During the argument, the accused attacked his father with the handle of an axe, due to which he died on the spot. It is being told that accused Mahavir Meghwal is a drug addict. He is also mentally unstable. This incident came to light when the mother of the accused reached home.
Circle Officer of Railway Colony, Pankaj Yadav said that the accused kept sitting near his father’s dead body after killing him. His mother is a daily wage labourer. When she came home in the evening, she was stunned to see her son sitting near her husband’s dead body. He immediately informed the police. On receiving the information, the police arrived and recovered the body and handed it over to the family members after post-mortem on Monday morning.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Dayaram Meghwal (60). He was ill for a long time and was bedridden. His wife was taking care of the entire household. His son was a drug addict. He often used to fight with his mother over money. Based on the mother’s complaint, the police have registered a case against the accused under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code.
