In a shocking incident in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore district, four women have been arrested for allegedly assaulting, stripping, and parading a 30-year-old woman during Holi celebrations in Bachhora village, as confirmed by police authorities. The distressing episode, captured in a video that surfaced on social media, depicts the victim’s humiliation at the hands of the accused.

According to Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sunil Mehta, the victim was forcibly taken out of her house by the four women who proceeded to beat her and strip her naked in public. The incident, stemming from a dispute, has left the victim emotionally distraught, compelling her to seek refuge at her parents’ home.
Investigations reveal that the altercation arose from suspicions harbored by one of the accused, who believed the victim was instigating her mother-in-law against her. Allegedly, the victim had taken her mother-in-law to Mandsaur without informing the accused, escalating tensions within the family.
Both the victim and the accused belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, highlighting the vulnerability of marginalized communities to such acts of violence. Eyewitnesses recounted the victim’s pleas for mercy as she was stripped and paraded on the village’s common road, yet the accused remained relentless in their assault.
