Many flights affected after strong thunderstorm and rain in Delhi-NCR

Delhi: Once again the weather has taken a turn in Delhi-NCR. Today i.e. on Saturday morning, it started raining in the areas around Delhi (Delhi-NCR Weather) with strong winds. There were dark clouds in the sky in the morning. Flights are also being affected due to low visibility.

Delhi: Once again the weather has taken a turn in Delhi-NCR. Today i.e. on Saturday morning, it started raining in the areas around Delhi (Delhi-NCR Weather) with strong winds. There were dark clouds in the sky in the morning. Flights are also being affected due to low visibility. According to the Meteorological Department, today the minimum temperature of Delhi is expected to be 22 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature is expected to be 37 degree Celsius.

Due to low visibility, four flights coming to Delhi have been diverted towards Jaipur. Strong winds were blowing at the speed of 65 to 70 km/h around Delhi IGI Airport. Also it was raining. In view of the bad weather, Delhi Airport said in a statement that due to the bad weather, the operation of many aircraft at Delhi Airport has been affected. Passengers have been advised to keep in touch with the airline companies.

According to the Meteorological Department, till May 29, there will be hot and sometimes rainy weather in Delhi. However, due to rain, people will get some relief from the humid heat. It is raining in Ghaziabad and Noida as well. Due to sudden darkness, the drivers were seen driving their vehicles by lighting the lights on the roads.

Strong storms are also going on in Gurugram. According to IMD, the rainy season will continue in Gurugram till May 30. The maximum temperature will be around 34 and the minimum temperature will be around 23 degrees. In view of the change in the weather, the IMD has predicted that the country may receive less rainfall than normal in June this year.

According to EMRC chief D Shivanand, except for some areas of North-West India, Far North India and Northeast India, most parts of the country will receive less rainfall this time in June. At the same time, there may be more rains in Northeast India. Earlier on Thursday also the weather had changed in a similar way. It rained heavily in Delhi and Rajasthan with strong winds. In Rajasthan, 10 people had died due to storm and water.

At the same time, many people were injured. Three people of the same family lost their lives due to the collapse of a house in Tonk district of Rajasthan. In this accident, grandfather and two children who were sleeping inside the house were killed. However, due to this change in the weather, the IMD has predicted the air quality of Delhi to improve. Delhi’s AQI was recorded at 98 on Friday, which means Delhi’s air is in satisfactory category.
