Modi cabinet’s big decision, more than 150 nursing colleges will be opened in the country

The Union Cabinet on Wednesday decided to open 157 new government nursing colleges in the country. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya told that Rs 1570 crore has been approved for this.

National Medical Device Policy : The Modi cabinet has taken a big decision on Wednesday regarding the Nursing College. Regarding this, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has given permission to the National Medical Device Policy 2023 in the cabinet meeting of the Modi government. More than 150 nursing colleges will be opened in the country as soon as possible. About 10 crore rupees will be spent in a nursing college. There are 1 lakh 6 thousand MBBS seats in the country and 1 lakh 18 thousand BSC Nursing seats. He said that Rs 1570 crore has been sanctioned, as well as the nursing college will be approved in 24 months. The number of medical colleges in the state, the same number of nursing colleges will also be given.

Informing about the approval to open government nursing colleges, Health Minister Mandaviya said that 157 government nursing colleges will be opened in the country and they will be completed and dedicated to the nation in the next 24 months. The Health Minister informed that Rs 1570 crore has been sanctioned for this. Mandaviya told that under this policy we will promote all medical device industries. He said that the government will work in a planned manner to make the country a leader in the medical device sector in the next 25 years.

Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that the medical device policy has got the approval of the cabinet. Under this policy, all the medical devices will take the industry forward, medical devices will be made under a comprehensive system so that the medical devices industry can be promoted in the world. In fact, many ministries are now involved in making medical devices, a comprehensive system will be developed under the new policy. Presently 60 to 70 percent is imported, this has to be reduced. The government has plans to make the country a leader in the medical device sector in the next 25 years.
