Monsoon to reach soon in many parts of the country, heatwave alert in these states

In four to five days, the heat wave will leave almost all the states and at the same time the monsoon will also arrive. In nine to 10 days, the remaining areas will also be covered. The weather is forecast to remain more or less the same as it is currently.

New Delhi: The impact of cyclonic storm Biparjoy has started to subside now, the weather pattern is going to change across the country during the next few days. In four to five days, the heat wave will leave almost all the states and at the same time the monsoon will also arrive. In nine to 10 days, the remaining areas will also be covered. The weather is forecast to remain more or less the same as it is currently.

According to the Meteorological Department, at present, the states of Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Coastal Andhra Pradesh are in the grip of severe heat wave. But in three days, the heat wave will end completely from here. After this, formation of thunder clouds and rain related activities will start gaining momentum here.

On the other hand, the conditions are now continuously favorable for the monsoon. Monsoon will advance further in Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar in the next two to three days. From June 23, the rainy season will start in most parts of the country. In Rajasthan and Gujarat, from June 26 or 27, rains will pick up pace again.

According to the presentation given by meteorologist SP Singh, there will be a slight decrease in the states where it is raining heavily due to the effect of Biparjoy. Where the period of scattered rain is going on, it will continue for the next four to five days.

In the states of North India, the heat wave will not be very intense now. From 26-27, there will be a slight increase in rain here too. On the other hand, the day temperature in the NCR region is expected to remain below 40.

Humid phase continues in the national capital amidst light rain. Drizzle occurred in many areas on Sunday as well, but the agony of the humid heat could not be reduced. The Meteorological Department says that the weather will remain more or less like this for the time being.

On Sunday, the maximum temperature was recorded at normal level at 38.6 degree Celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded one degree above normal at 28.6 degree Celsius. The humidity level in the air was 76 to 52. As far as rainfall is concerned, Pusa recorded 5.5 mm, Najafgarh 3.5 mm, Mungeshpur 1.0 and Ridge region recorded drizzle. On the other hand, Delhi has received 58 percent less rainfall so far in the month of June. The average rainfall of the month is 27.4 mm whereas the average rainfall is only 11.4 mm.

The Meteorological Department has forecast that it will be cloudy throughout the day on Monday. There is a possibility of drizzle and light rain at some places. The maximum and minimum temperature is expected to be 39 and 27 degree Celsius respectively. The Meteorological Department also says that the temperature will remain below 40 degrees for the next several days.
