New Delhi : In a grim discovery, the body of a young man was found submerged in a septic tank within a residence in Delhi’s Anand Parbat area. Authorities are treating the case as a suspected homicide, with initial leads pointing towards a potential illicit relationship as the motive.
The Delhi Police were alerted to the scene following reports of a putrid odor emanating from a house in Anand Parbat. Upon investigation, they uncovered the deceased individual submerged in the septic tank within the premises.
Identified as 30-year-old Madhav, who resided in the vicinity, the victim’s landlord, Mohan Kumar Pandey, shed light on Madhav’s sudden disappearance after leaving his mobile phone at home on Holi, never to return.
Further probing into the matter revealed a potential connection to an illicit relationship, as authorities recovered an incriminating photograph from Madhav’s mobile phone. Subsequent inquiries led them to a neighboring house, where the stench of decay prompted a thorough search, culminating in the discovery of Madhav’s decomposed remains in the septic tank.
According to sources, the tenant of the house, believed to be linked to Madhav’s demise, has absconded with his wife, intensifying the search efforts to apprehend them.
