Mutilated woman’s body parts lying scattered after run over by multiple vehicles on UP Expressway

In a bone-chilling incident a woman’s body was run over by hundreds of vehicles as it kept lying on the Agra-Lucknow expressway. The mutilated body could be seen on the road as its limbs were spread across the road.

Lucknow: In a bone-chilling incident a woman’s body was run over by hundreds of vehicles as it kept lying on the Agra-Lucknow expressway. The mutilated body could be seen on the road as its limbs were spread across the road.

Horrific visuals from scene showed several cars passed from the side, some even ran over it after which the police were informed. Soon after reaching the spot, the police then sent the body for autopsy. While the victim is yet to be identified, it is unclear how long the body was kept on the road.

The police while sharing details said that the case has been filed in the incident and further probe is on. Recently, a total of six people lost their lives and eight others were injured after a collision between two cars and a pickup truck in Uttar Pradesh’s Ballia. Among those who lost their lives included two children.

According to the police, the incident unfolded in the area that falls under the Bairiya police station of Ballia. It added that the deceased and the injured were returning from a marriage function. After being informed by the passers-by the police reached the spot and started the rescue operation.

The police then shifted all injured to the hospital, while the bodies of the deceased were sent for post-mortem. It also informed family members of all victims.

A case was also lodge under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at the Bairiya police station. The police soon started the probe to ascertain the cause of the accident. In a message on X (formerly Twitter), the Ballia police also said the situation at the accident spot was under control.
