In a disturbing incident, a wine shop salesman in Greater Noida was brutally assaulted and shot dead by three unidentified individuals after he refused to serve them liquor past midnight.
The horrifying incident occurred at an authorized wine shop situated in New Haibatpur village under the jurisdiction of the Bisrakh police station area. The victim, identified as Hari Om, hailed from Amroha district in western Uttar Pradesh.
The assailants arrived at the closed shop around 2 am and demanded liquor. However, upon being denied, they resorted to violence, initiating a heated altercation with Hari Om.
During the altercation, one of the assailants brandished a country-made pistol and fired at Hari Om, fatally injuring him. Despite efforts to rush him to the hospital, Hari Om succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
Authorities swiftly responded to the scene and have initiated a thorough investigation into the matter. CCTV footage and surveillance cameras in the vicinity are being scrutinized to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
