Washington: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on his first state visit to America. During this historic visit of PM Modi, many important agreements have been signed between the two countries. In such a situation, a plane with a huge banner brought a welcome message in the sky of New York. It was written on this banner – “Historic State Visit to America”. Along with this, there were pictures of PM Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden on the banner.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has shared a video of the banner on Twitter. With this, Rijiju wrote, “Meanwhile in the sky of New York in America.”

However, it is not yet clear when the video was shot.

PM Modi’s visit was celebrated by New York by lighting up its iconic Empire State Building and Niagara Falls in the colors of the Indian flag.

America’s State Department organized a banquet in honor of PM Modi this afternoon, in which PM Modi also participated. He also addressed the gathering along with US Vice President Kamala Harris and Foreign Minister Antony Blinken.

He attended a state dinner hosted by President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden at the White House yesterday.

In New York on Wednesday, PM Modi led a yoga session organized at the United Nations Headquarters on the occasion of International Yoga Day.

PM Modi’s visit to America will end today after addressing the Indian American community in Washington. After this PM Modi will fly to Egypt for the second leg of his visit.
