Bittu Bajrangi, recently released on bail after being implicated in last year’s violence in Haryana’s Nuh, is again under scrutiny after a video surfaced showing him allegedly assaulting a man while police stood by. The incident, captured on camera, has sparked outrage online.
Bittu Bajrangi Allegedly Assaults Man. The video depicts Bajrangi, accompanied by members of his cow vigilante group, purportedly beating a man with a stick as others restrain him. Shockingly, a policeman is seen in close proximity to the scene but takes no action.
According to police officials, the incident occurred on April 1 in Faridabad, where the victim, identified as Shamu, was accused of luring two girls into his house under suspicious circumstances. Local residents, suspecting foul play, confronted Shamu, leading to the involvement of Bajrangi’s vigilante group.
The footage shows Bajrangi wielding a stick while others drag Shamu, who pleads for mercy. Despite the presence of law enforcement, no immediate intervention is observed. It’s reported that Shamu was subjected to physical assault both by civilians and Bajrangi.
Authorities have acknowledged the viral video and stated their intention to take action upon receiving a formal complaint from the victim. However, if no complaint is filed, they assert they will utilize the video evidence to pursue the perpetrators.
