Pakistan: On Tuesday, an official said that at least six people including five Chinese nationals after an explosive-laden vehicle crashed into another vehicle in Bisham tehsil of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Shangla.

Pakistan: On Tuesday, an official said that at least six people including five Chinese nationals after an explosive-laden vehicle crashed into another vehicle in Bisham tehsil of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Shangla.

According to the information, Chinese nationals were killed in an explosion when their convoy was attacked by a suicide bomber in northwest Pakistan. The Chinese were working on the Dasu hydropower project.

Mohammad Ali Gandapur, the regional police chief said to media that several others were injured in the incident that happened in the Bisham area of Shangla district of the province when a bus en route from Islamabad to Kohistan was hit by a vehicle coming from the opposite direction.

He added, “Five Chinese nationals and their Pakistani driver were killed in the attack,” Gandapur said. A senior police officer as saying that at least five Chinese, who were on the bus, were killed and added that several other passengers were injured in the suicide attack.

Bisham Station House Officer (SHO) Bakht Zahir told media that the incident was a “suicide blast” and the authorities concerned were collecting the evidence. He added that Security arrangements were tightened at the spot and the bodies were being shifted to a hospital.
