Authorities have detained an individual in Uttarakhand suspected of fabricating passports for members associated with the notorious Rohit Godara and Lawrence Bishnoi gangs, facilitating their clandestine travels abroad, as confirmed by police sources on Sunday.
The Rajasthan Anti Gangsters Task Force, in conjunction with Bikaner Police, orchestrated the arrest of Rahul Sarkar in Uttarakhand. Sarkar stands accused of orchestrating the forgery of passports, a crucial tool for gangsters seeking to obscure their identities while venturing overseas.
Sarkar’s capture near the Uttarakhand-Nepal border followed extensive surveillance and raids, illustrating the concerted efforts by law enforcement to thwart criminal activities linked to these notorious gangs.
