Punjab: An official said that a damaged Chinese-made drone have recovered by Border Security Force (BSF) troops in Tarn Taran district of Punjab on Wednesday.
The BSF recovered the drone from a field near Dal village in Tarn Taran district, according to officials.
The official statement said,”On Tuesday morning, when BSF troops were patrolling the area forward of border fence in Tarn Taran district, at about 11:20 am, the sound of crushing of a wheat field ahead of border fence under the reaper machine was heard.”
On reaching closer, the BSF stopped the machine and found a drone stuck under the reaper and in a completely damaged condition in the wheat field. The recovered drone has been identified as China-made DJI Mavis 3 Classic.
The BSF said,”This recovery of illegal drones underlines the sincere efforts of the BSF, which is committed to eliminating the cross-border drone threat.”
