Rajasthan: 20-year-old NEET student fakes her suicide in Kota, after 11 days found in Ludhiana

Rajasthan: The missing case of a 20-year-old NEET aspirant in Kota have solved by Rajasthan Police . According to police, the girl went missing from her PG room in Kota and was traced in Ludhiana, Punjab after 11 days. On Thursday, police said that she has been handed over to her family members.

Police revealed that Tripti Singh, a resident of Kaushambi Nagar in Uttar Pradesh, staged her suicide. To mislead her parents and police, the woman had left a suicide note in her room, which said that she was going to end her life by jumping into the Chambal river as she could not clear the exam and would apologize to her parents, expressing her love for them.

Kota city superintendent of police Amrita Duhan formed police teams to search for the woman after a report was filed by the hostel caretaker on April 23. After the suicide note was recovered, SDRF divers conducted a search operation in the river.

Apart from the suicide note, a note with the name Radha Krishna written in it was found in the woman’s PG room and it was learnt that she had earlier gone to Mathura following which a police team was sent there.

On Wednesday, Duhan said in a press release that the police learnt that a girl resembling the one they were looking for had left for Ludhiana. He said that the police team reached Ludhiana the same day and traced the woman on Thursday based on the mobile phone switched on by her and handed her over to her parents who had reached there.
