Rajasthan: On Saturday, A man allegedly drowned his 10-year-old son in a pond and later committed suicide in Bikaner district of Rajasthan. After receiving information about this incident police reached the on the spot.
The man was identified as Jitendra Ojha. SP Bikaner Tejaswani Gautam said that the body of 48-year-old Jitendra Ojha has been recovered while the search is on for the minor’s body.
Giving information about this incident, She said that Mr Ojha drowned his son on Friday evening in a pond in Kolayat area.
On Social Media platform, CCTV footage of the incident also surfaced. About this incident, another police official said that the man took his son to the pond and pushed him.
He added that when the boy tried to save himself, Mr Ojha forcefully pushed him into deep waters and later committed suicide. The police official further said that the reason behind the incident is not clear and the matter is being investigated.
