Rajasthan triple murder: 20-year-old man hacks parents, sister with axe in Nagaur district; arrested

According to the information received, after brutally killing the parents and disabled sister last night, the accused remained in the house with the dead bodies throughout the night on Saturday. On Sunday morning, he "nonchalantly" went to the police station and reported the triple homicide.

Jaipur: A surprising incident has came into limelight from Nagaur district of Rajasthan. a 20-year-old mentally unstable man has brutally murdered his parents and disabled sister. The son attacked and killed all three with an ax while they were sleeping on Saturday (30 December) night. After committing this dreadful incident, no wrinkle or remorse was visible on the face of the accused son. The accused was taken into custody when he nonchalantly walked into a police station to report the deaths on Sunday morning.

According to the information received, after brutally killing the parents and disabled sister last night, the accused remained in the house with the dead bodies throughout the night on Saturday. On Sunday morning, he “nonchalantly” went to the police station and reported the triple homicide.

“Dilip Singh (45), a resident of Padukalan town, his wife Rajesh Kanwar (40) and daughter Priyanka (15) were attacked and killed by Mohit (with an axe on Saturday night,” Padukalan SHO Manvendra Singh said on Sunday.

The couple’s son is currently in police custody. Padukalan Station House Officer (SHO) Manvendra Singh confirmed that the son is currently being quizzed. Family feud is likely behind the murders, turning it from a tragedy into a horrifying tale of family feud and betrayal.

“Prima facie, it appears the youth is mentally unstable. However, police are still grilling him to ascertain the actual cause. He surrendered before the police. His mobile phone showed that he seemed to have searched on the internet about committing suicide on the internet. All possible angles are being investigated,” Nagaur SP Narayan Togas said.

The police said that the bodies have been kept in the hospital mortuary for post-mortem.
