In the latest development for the upcoming Rajya Sabha polls, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released another list, confirming the renomination of Union Ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw and L Murugan as its candidates from Odisha and Madhya Pradesh, respectively.

For the Madhya Pradesh Rajya Sabha seats, the BJP has announced three additional candidates, complementing L Murugan, who is the Minister of State in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. With the BJP having the requisite numbers to secure four seats, the Congress is positioned to win one in the state.

BJP Renominates Ministers Vaishnaw from Odisha and Murugan from MP. The BJP has also unveiled its choices for the Rajya Sabha polls in Rajasthan, omitting outgoing MP and Union Minister Bhupender Yadav. The party has nominated former state minister Chunnilal Garasiya and former MLA Madan Rathore for the two vacancies in the state. The tenure of two current Rajya Sabha members from Rajasthan, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh (Congress) and Bhupender Yadav (BJP), is set to conclude on April 3. This strategic move by the BJP underscores its commitment to reinforcing its representation in the upper house of Parliament.
